After a four song EP that contains the britpop-satire "King Of The Stages", linus.maybe debute in 2008 with their album "Attitude". The title song, as well as the track "Rockstar" catch the attention of several radio stations. In spring 2008, linus.maybe release their bonus single "Not Another Football Song", that gets voted top song for the european football championship by the listeners of a local radio station.
And not for something completely different: The band's name. In the first place, the band had chosen the name "linus", after the character from the peanuts comic that used to play the piano. It turned out that the band was wrong about that. The character playing the piano was named "Schroeder". And as you hardly want to name your band that way, they added the ".maybe"
