RecommendI have to make a mention here of a show I saw in 1995. Grant Hart was doing a show at the Garage in London, UK and I witnessed it. It was just him up on stage with an electric guitar and it was amazing. Anyway, it's great to see him back with a new album now that Novamob is now defunct. On Good News Grant feels compelled to hit pop right on the head. As opposed to former band mate Bob Mould, Mr. Hart is content with recreating his memorable pop tunes. This leads to quite a comfortable listen that any old Husker Du fan will appreciate. Grant is a great songwriter and continues to prove his worth with albums such as this.
