Ever heard an album that holds a deep and dark rhythm, so full of warm vibe of novice instrumentation. Black Suit Karma is the latest to add themselves to that list.
Songs like "Feverish" carry a daunting melody and simplistic writing, and while there is seemingly a fantastic Tool feel here, there just does not seem to be a staple that holds it altogether. The lead vocals leave a bit to be desired here, and throughout the rest of the disc. So close, yet so far away from enjoyable, I'm just not sure what to say about this Danzig meets Type-O-Negative project.
It's not all sour grapes here, shining tracks are "Hole Inside" and "Agony Of Solitude" for some enjoyable guitar work. Overall, I'm passing on these guys, but they have a sound that tweaked the right way, could make this review come back to bite me in ass. I hope so.
