RecommendGomez are somewhat of an anomaly. They are classed as Brit pop but don't have the slightest thing in common with Oasis or Suede other than they live on the same island. After kicking everybodies ass with Bring It On, their debut album, people were wanting the follow up to do the same. While Liquid Skin isn't quite as charming as Bring It On it takes Gomez in a natural progression. They sound more like an American band with their trippy folk rock sounds especially tracks like "Blue Moon Rising". Gomez is going to be one of those bands that just gets better with age. And for some reason people in North America just refuse to listen to anything British. Break down the walls and give it a chance.
