yeah i think that the new AC/DC is gonna be a more anticipated release just because we know what to expect from metallica by now and we dont know what direction AC/DC is gonna go in

|_|/ \|_| <-- Metal horns! I'm actually curious about the new AC/DC coming out later this year/early next year. More curious than Metallica that's for sure.

The Aussies have done it again, sadly without their front man Bon Scott, who had died at the age of 33, 5 months before they released Back In Black. I'd have to say that this is the most successful and best all around album of all time. Every single song on this album is original and creates a whole new ambiance and sound for the band. This is a ballad album. Every single one of these songs is just a pure jam packed metal catastrophe that creates more than just fist pumping anthems that fill up afternoon radio airwaves. They show a level of maturity in being able to properly say goodbye to their friend Bon Scott. To be able to go out and make the #2 greatest selling album of all time, nearly 5 months after your singer dies is nothing short of an accomplishment career milestone miracle. Id have to say my favorite tracks from this album are all of them. The perfect harmony of Hells Bells sets the tone for the album, but it doesnt just stay there. Right from that haunting tune it goes into Shoot to Thrill. Then it goes into What Do You Do For Money Honey, which in my opinion is kind of a funny song. One of the shorter songs, Givin the Dog A Bone, shows how AC/DC are able to compact all the complicated riffs and harmonies into a short, sweet, and to the point song. Let Me Put My Love Into You is kinda like What Do You Do For Money, just with different words. Of course, as past albums have shown, the title track always shines. No difference here as Back In Black clearly dont pull no punches. You Shook Me All Night Long is a great song, but the recurring "getting laid" theme kinda wears out. On a side note, I would like to recommend a techno remix is floating around on the internet and if you are able to pick it up, I think you might enjoy it. Now back to AC/DC, Have A Drink On Me never got much radio play but i still find it to be a very enjoyable song. I never got a feel for what made Shake A Leg feel special, but I know that it holds its place in all fans hearts. Rock N' Roll Aint Noise Pollution is a fantastic song to close the album with, and its a great slow jam that shows Paul Rudd isnt just there to keep Angus in beat. 10/10 without a doubt, greatest rock album out there. Must pick up for anyone.
