Quarteracrelifestyle is an electro-rock group formed by New Zealand brothers Aaron and Cameron Pollock. They found a great vocalist in North Dakota's Kristin Brown. While their sound is a little hit and miss it sounds like a cross between Shirley Manson's Garbage with Sneaker Pimps. Right from that description you can tell that the sound might be a little dated, and it is. But Quarteracrelifestyle (what a mouthful) does this in a decent enough style to make Blood On The Lawn relevant. "Captains of Industry" is the introductory track and for some reason they choose an instrumental. Regardless, this is one of the coolest tracks on the album. Then Kristin takes the stage with "Yeah Nah", but I honestly felt it was something I've heard before. "Walk On" and "What Would It Mean To You" are pretty simple and provide some no-brainer thrills.

"Spooky Jandal" is another pretty funky instrumental. Then one of the brothers takes on vocals on "I Want To Be In Your Song". Not bad but they should stick to Kristin's vocals. "Escalator" takes on a moody persona with Kristin taking the mic back. They keep up the moodiness on the closing instrumental "Blood On The Lawn".

Witth the mix of instrumentals and vocal tracks it seems as thought Quarteracrelifestyle just can't quite decide what they want to be. Their music sounds slightly dated but again, they are pretty good at what they do. They just need to be a little more creative for round two.
