DJ Maus is making quite a statement with her Montreal based drum and bass style. In the past she has opened for the likes of Roni Size, Kid Koala, David Bowie, Pizzicato Five, Hovercraft, Amon Tobin, and Gus Gus/Lamb. That alone must tell you the talent that this DJ posesses. Don't expect drum and bass solely because she provides a mixture of styles in with the D'n'B such as techno, dub, and trance and at times, like the last track by London Electricity, a bit of soul. On Intersections, DJ Maus decides to go with a little more eclectic mix. The only artists I recognize are Amon Tobin and Omni Trio. Her set here on Intersections sound like it would be great live. DJ Maus is a talented DJ with a bright future ahead.
