Finch is a band that incorporates all that is good in emo, hardcore, punk and metal and fuse it all together into something for everyone. They have been together in some form or another since the late 90’s and secured a deal with Drive-Thru Records after blowing the owners away in a studio. Drive-Thru got them in the studio with Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Midtown) and What It Is To Burn is the glorious result. Along the vein of bands like Thursday, Finch is able to have the mellower vocals right alongside the screaming harcore vocals. The band proves to be totally dynamic and diverse in their music, not to mention very powerful and enthralling. Finch is making the run up the Billboard charts and reckons to be a powerful hardcore band in the future. Watch for Finch on this summer’s Warped Tour.
