Wow. Even as I listen to Black Label now I am at a loss for words. New American Gospel has introduced many a lost soul into the thriving music scene that is known as American Heavy Metal. Even time itself can't put a damper on this hellish album. The boys from Richmond Virginia show just what the East Coast can bring with not just screaming and shredding, but creativity like never before seen. It's not just Blythe's screaming, or the Chris Adler's insane drumming abilities that make LoG unique, but rather the way they are able to throw it all together into a masterpiece that mere mortals stand in awe of. One day LoG will become a mainstream religion and New American Gospel will be their bible. Black Label, Terror & Hubris in the House of Frank Pollard, The Subtle Art of Murder and Persuasion, Pariah are songs of recommendation for the new LoG listener. There's a reason I rated the album 10/10 but ill let you find out why.
