Yeah, I'm having a hard time with this disc too. I love Neurosis and Kelly's sound with that project but The Wake is a pretty one dimensional album. That one dimension is interesting, but it gets old kinda quick. It's very bleak, very dark, just Kelly and his acoustic guitar. I might not get around to this one for awhile, I want to see if it grows on me or not.
