A fellow Music Emissions user recommended The Annuals album Be He Me and I am forever grateful. Wet Zoo is a split EP from Annuals as well as a band called Sunfold which is actually an Annuals side project. First three songs are flagged as Annuals tracks and the final two are flagged as Sunfold tracks. It doesn't really matter because the 5 songs go together just fine.
Wet Zoo EP starts out with "Sore", an achingly delightful pop masterpiece. This song alone is worth the EP. Then Annuals pick up the pace a bit with "Around Your Neck", another great pop song. They bring it back down slightly for "Just Stay In".
Some of the larger pop sounds come out on the first Sunfold tracks, "Between The Worlds". It's one of those songs that is unassuming but has so many hooks that you beg for more. It's a good thing "Watering Pail" delivers more.

I picked this up long ago and still haven't given it it's full and deserved attention. But Dennis is right - this is more great stuff from an amazing pop band. I'm glad I could really contribute something when I brought them around!!
