You will get fat just by listening to Death By Chocolate chat about all their favorite sweets. "My friend Jack eats sugar lumps", as the aptly titled "My Friend Jack" chants along. Our friend Austin Powers wouldn't have a problem grooving to the sexy sounds of DBC. The track "Ice Cold Lemonade" rightly steals the riff from the classic pop track "Sugar Sugar". I can see this album being played in a twisted Dentist office. I don't really care for "a b & c" where band singer / narrator Angela Faye Tillett goes through many different lists of "A is for .... B is for ...". It drives me mad. The rest, although, is startlingly original. Cool organ grooves through the entire album while Angela Faye Tillett's childish but intelligent voice tells the appropriate story. A fine addition to Jetset's roster.
