Crease started out many years ago (1994) as Excessive and later changed their name and added a new member, Greg Gershengorn. Crease was born. In 1997 they attempted to do an album but like so many D.I.Y. bands out there they ran out of money so they only issued it as an EP. With their debut finally all wrapped up the band shows that it is out to win over everyone. They have a very commercial rock sound that is brightly polished and ready and waiting for rock stations to pick up on the charm that this band seems to have. If any influential radio station got ahold of the power ballad "Spin Around" the dues paid by this band would pay off big time. Be sure to check out the bands blistering version of pop hit "Jenny (867-5309)". It seems this band has the right chemistry to be commercial rock darlings. Let just wait and see if their management can pull it off.
