I like rough and raw music. So I like this distortion based album. Its all a bit OTT really, distortion and tape hiss all over it but its kind of cute. There are some nice delicate little songs under all that noise. They remind me of The Moldy Peaches but not as "quirky". I do wonder whether i would like it more without the OTT distortion grating my earholes therfore letting me actually hear the obviously good music but then i wonder if i would have even listened to it if the distortion hadnt grabbed my earholes in the first place. a curious thing despite my waffling
