It seems that not much has changed in the Hip Hop realm of music. For that Arrested Development has decided to make a comeback and give another shot to give hip hop fans an alternative. Now the crew of Arrested Development haven't been silent. In fact front man Speech has put out some amazing solo efforts. When other fun-loving hip hop groups like Jurassic 5 are falling to the wayside one might question the return of Arrested Development. I'm sure you could argue that one either way but AD have recorded another fairly strong album of fun hip hop. 

Since The Last Time opens with the title track, talking about what the crew has been up to in the past decade. Right away you can feel the energy and passion that Speech has with this reunion of sorts. But I found the when "Heaven" hit my ears I knew that something special was going on. Their usual "dancer" Ishi (sp) takes on the vocals during the chorus and really makes this uplifting. "Sao Paulo" kind of sounds like a Black Eyed Peas track, showing that these veterans can keep up with today's chart toppers. 

Arrested Development just seem to have a good groove to them. They seem to have lost a little of the political stance that their previous albums had but that's probably because they are focusing on the fun element.This album really made me realize the importance that Arrested Development had in the hip hop arena in the 90s. They are back, give them the credit they deserve.
