A rock band featuring members of EyeHateGod, Crowbar, and Down can only mean one thing, one of the heaviest jam bands ever. Expect screaming guitars and wailing organs with a super tight rhythm section playing some of the heaviest jam material you have ever heard. Taking after such bands as Deep Purple and Golden Earring and even masterful jammers The Allman Brothers, the members in Clearlight opt for a heavier style of Jamming. There isn't one vocal involved on the album and they have no problem laying back and cruisin' or kicking it up a notch into overdrive. If you appreciate good musicianship and artists collaborating almost seamlessly then Clearwater is for you. It's almost as if the band did these tracks on a first take basis and it wouldn't have made much difference if they would have practiced. There is just too much improvisation going on. Freedom in music.
