In support of the 3rd release by Lamb of God (Ashes of the Wake) LoG went on tour, but they only recorded their show in Philadelphia, which they cleverly named Killadelphia. There was a cd and dvd release, with the dvd showing footage from the whole show. I'd have to say that Killadelphia delivers extremely well in terms of content and performance value. One of the things that makes this album amazing is the fact that it just doesnt feature songs from Ashes of the Wake, but from every release since they formed as Burn the Priest. Blythe's vocals live are something out of this world. For 2 hours, Blythe is screaming his throat out and giving Philadelphia what they paid for. The most noticeable difference from this and other albums is how powerful the band sounds. I would have to say that out of all the songs that are performed, Laid to Rest is probably performed the best. The crowd totally gets into it. And for those of you who havent heard the song, Blythe starts the song by speaking the lyrics and then screaming, then he would go back to speaking. But live, its a whole different story. He is screaming the whole song and the crowd gets as loud as him. Really showing that going back to your home city really pays off when it comes to the quality of the performance. Definitely recommend this album to any metal fans as a solid pickup and for a good showing of how a live album should sound
