Prints are a duo from LA that plays up the joy and the sunny side of the street. Nice and sometimes goofy pop are presented to you on this self-titled release, and such moods are not played for irony. The band genuinely seems to be having a blast and they make the listener share in that fun.

With hooks aplenty, choruses that stick in the best parts of your craw, and harmonies that almost make you believe that there is hope in pop music, Prints are tight and adventurous when the want to be. You wouldn’t think that a great pop band would be on the roster of Temporary Residence, a great label full of more challenging fare. But Prints hold their own on this winner, and ought to be a welcome sight live, when the joy could be experienced firsthand.
