'The lines I wear around my wrist are there to prove that I exist.'

Some of you are probably reading that saying, "Those are the most emo lyrics I have ever read."  Well like it or not, they are.  But they are not just emo lyrics, they are emotional lyrics that lead you into a deep story within this sophomore album, Trainwreck, from the band Boys Night OutBoys Night Out decided to take a risk with their second album by making it into a concept album, an album with a certain theme, or an album that tells a story.  Trainwreck is certainly an amazing album, the songs and story flow together so well that it seems like you're listening to a story right out of a book.  A man is dreaming, and when he wakes up he finds that he has brutally murdered his wife.  He is sentenced into an insane asylum.  After relapsing, he is free out to the world where he can function.  Pick up the album to hear the rest of this story.  This album does a great job of resurrecting a concept that was said to be dead among music, you won't be disappointed.

The band does a great job of incoprotating the keyboard into the band and the music.  The lyrics in this album are so clever, and can easily get stuck in your head when you listen to track after track.  In the third track, Waking, the main character has waken up shortly after having a dream where he has heard screams that seemed to real for dreams.  He finds his wife spread across the floor, blood around her lifeless body.  The hook to this song is great: 'Make this a dream, because I really can't believe that she's gone.'

Medicating is the only single from this album, which is easy to see because it's so damn catchy.  The chorus will make you want to sing.

Doctor, Doctor what am I here for?  Can't you see that I don't need this place?  I don't need these walls, I'm no threat at all.

I often find myself clapping and singing towards the end of the song, along with the band because the beat of the entire song is so easy to pick up on.  Medicating is definitely a good choice to be a single for Trainwreck, it's an awesome song.

The only track that I have a problem with is Relapsing.  There was a female in this band before, and she did a vocal track on this song.  I don't really like her voice all that much, but as you get further along in the song it guess a little bit better.

I suggest anyone who are fans of such music as Brand New or even The Receiving End of Sirens, to pick up this album.  Even if you aren't into that type of music and you just want to hear a good concept album, give Trainwreck a chance.

Composing: Single best song off this record, how it was not a single, is beyond me!
