It's hard to believe that Buffalo Tom is 12 years old. If you are unfamiliar with Buffalo Tom then this is the perfect introduction to the band. Beggars Banquet has just issued this long overdue retrospective of this amazing Boston band. The band did a fine job compiling all their so called hits (unfortunately they felt it unnecessary to sequence the tracks cronologically, but it works allright) and other favorites like the contribution they made to the Jam tribute "Going Underground" which was UK top ten last year. Sure there are a few favorites missing but this compilation does a great job of taking highlights from each album and shows everyone what a great band Buffalo Tom really is. Instead of taking all six Buffalo Tom CD's with you now you only have to take one. Again, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the band here is your chance to catch up on one of the greatest bands to ever come out of Boston. The liner notes are very entertaining as well with the band giving insight into each track.
