The Saosin - EP album was released one year before their major label debut self-titled album.  The record only has five tracks on it, but each of which are amazing.  Even some of the songs on this album even appear on this full length album out now in stores.  This is the album where Cove took place of former front man Anthony Green. Saosin does a great job with this album and even though it doesn't sound very well produced, you can ignore it when listening to the vocals.  The album starts off with the hit song called Bury Your Head.  The track quickly became a single and boosted the popularity of Saosin.  The lyrics might not make sense when you listen to them, and I don't want to go into deep though about it incase I get it wrong.  But the most memorable lyrics from that track, in my opinion, are:

"They stole my lies, sold right and all. They wandered around and round my mouth.  They stole my lie, sold right and all. (stole it all, stole it all) They have been the ones who've seen enough."

Track two is called, I Wanna Hear Another Fast Song which is renamed to be Sleeper, on the self titled debut album.  This track is a beautiful demo of the newly released track, Cove does a good job with his vocal range for this song, and the band does an excellent job of backing their new front man.  New Angel is the next track by Saosin, which is also put on the debut album renamed as I Never Wanted To.  The catchiest part of this song, is in the chorus:

"I never wanted to hear all the things that you told me, we are the only ones we are running from"

Track four is a live recording of the song Lost Symphonies.  It's the harder song of the album, which is probably one of the best songs that has been released by Saosin.  It's a great song that has a great build and release property towards the end.  The sounds build up for the big finish.  The very last track is an acoustic version of Bury Your Head which is good, but I personally prefer the original version.
