As an addendum to my review, I'd like to add that I love the fact that JD's lyric "you'll never see me fall from grace" synchs with the album cover, although you know that kid is going to fall, you will never see her fall....

I loved NIN's 99 blank tracks! it's amazing that someone actually remembers that. I agree, this album is one of those albums that just starts out raw and ends....polished. I think it's worth waiting through the 12 tracks just to hear "it's on" because that song is so tight.
Korn is a very intense band. This album is a perfect display of it. I'm not a fan of limp bizkit, but I'm pretty sure that Jon Davis wrote "Significant Other". I love the riff's in the beginning of "justin" and "reclaim my peace". I love Jon's intensity in the beginning and the end of "reclaim"
I think Jon Davis kicks Fred Durst's ass in the battle on "all in the family"..."You're a pimp whatever limp dick, fred durst needs to rehearse". Seriously fred? All you can come up with "you better watch your back son".
Ok, so since i'm on "all in the family, I'm gonna clown on Fred Durst and give Jon props for entertaining this jacksonville faggot...Here are my favorite quotes from the JD and FD battle on all in the family:
JD "getting butt fucked by your uncle chuck while your sisters on her knees waiting for your little wingnut"
JD "living down south, and ....you sure do got a purty mouth"
JD"you better run while you can biz liskit, at least I got a fat original band"
JD" fred durst needs to rehearse, needs to reverse what he's saying"....to name a few
JD"you look like a faggot on the hanson video you little faggot hoe"
JD"you're a pimp whatever limp dick"

The worst rhymes on this album come from Fred Durst:
"you pumpkin pie, I'll jack off in your eye"
"it's doomsday kid, its doomsday"
"your favorite band is winger"
"you little fairy, smelling on your flowers"

They should have ended the song at "and I love you, and I hate you"
Jon went a little overboard with the "I hate you, i'll rape you, and i'll but fuck you.

Attention all parents, report to your local church.....that song with ice cube is flat out sick. Davis' voice combined with Cube is just flat out erie and then Cube's rant...how you gonna tell me where to skate, where to love, where to fuck.....

I can't help but comment on the album artwork, with the kid getting ready to fall off the edge of a cliff after getting to the end of a game of hopscotch. The album just leaves you with nowhere to go but down, the music is intense as the cover.

"Come dance with me"-Jon Davis.,,

If you like this album, I just want to add that Korn is 300 times as intense as they are on this album. I love this album, including the hit "got the life"...

i love this cd. its something to listen to when you first wake up and are driving to work. it'll definitely wake your ass up. the only thing i don't like about follow the leader is the 12 blank tracks before hittin on to "its on!". reminds me of when NIN did the 99 blank tracks at the end of broken. anyway back to the subject....during "freak on a leash" in the middle it sounds like JD is having a seizure...its funny. the rest of the song is fun. "dead bodies everywhere" i saw an underground video for, that was awesome....even for ainime. fit the song perfectly, a great song and a really kewl vid. children of the korn is a funny little "fight" between JD and ice cube. i loved that. well, whoever wants to have a fun ride with korn....this is the one. enjoy it! i sure as hell did.
