Black Box Recorder is a British collaboration between former Auteur Luke Haines, former Jesus and Mary Chain member John Moore and vocalist Sarah Nixey. The Facts of Life is their second recording since their inception in 1998. After the first three songs you start to think that they are having a Car thing going on. The lead track is call "The Art of Driving" and the third one in is called "The English Motorway System". After knocking the critics over with an amazing debut (England Made Me) they have even topped it with The Facts Of Life. Black Box Recorder have backed off the dark topics a touch but they still remain. With their first single "The Facts Of Life" Black Box Recorder have secured their first top 20 UK single. It features lead vocalist Nixey reading a list of ideas almost as if she is listing them straight out of her head. Black Box Recorder should see a great response to this album on American College Charts.
