Wotans Procession sets the mood for this yet another dark, heavy and dripping with doom entry from the great DANZIG. An instrumental number with a chilling anticipation of things to comes... It starts slow and low, and grows into a ghostly occult like chant only to fade away and become silence........ Then we are hit in the face with SKIN CARVER the second track on Circle of Snakes. It is simple, tough, mean and filled with crack your ribs, blow your mind, twist your soul sound and feeling. I DO NOT care what people say. I DO NOT let other peoples opinions on music have ANY effect or avail on my own... So to anyone who thinks this final album (so far) from DANZIG is anything but straight forward, fill your speakers with sound, doom laced, heart pounding power is a complete and utter tool... And not to mention probably a fan of TOOL. Ha Ha Ha, suck on my big fat chainsaw you losers! DANZIG's Circle of Snakes is better than anything you will ever hear from anyone from the year 2004.
