Picture if you will a gigantic, towering, unstoppable army tank, blood and rust stained, expelling massive plumes of thick black, evil, wretched smoke barreling over the body laced battle field. Nothing can stop its machined, forged gears of hate, energy and doom. Its treads tear over bloody, twitching bodies as they scream in agony from the crushing weight of the killing machine fueled by pure, untouched, madness. If you can picture that, you can get JUST a taste of the type of energy and power Danzig has recorded on BLACKACIDEVIL. The black sheep of his career, you will hear countless people spew the same crap over and over about this album... Its too different, its too industrial, its too....... Shut your mouth. Its not my fault you cant take real, pound for pound music on a level beyond what you can handle.... Danzig soars with this album. He taps into true hate, anger and energized passion with each song. I'm not a big fan of cover songs by anyone, anytime, ever...... But at least he changed Hand of Doom enough to where it sounds like a different song, not just the same song by Sabbath recorded in a lower or faster key. This album is just what it says, BLACK AS THE DEVIL baby! BLACKACIDEVIL is my TOP danzig album. Because it simply will not stop pounding your brains out.

I've heard people call this Glenn's St.Anger...
and I say so what if an artist of his calibre wants to experiment...the songs in this album show a darker more erotic side to His Evilness.
Many fans love this CD...and I'm one of them...
sure Glenn makes a slight left turn into the industrial metal genre...but it leads to a hell of an album!
