This album would be classified by FIRE. This album is breathing with the essence of flame and heat. It is like a trip through the depths of hell, down deep into the darkest pits. Every songs is crafted perfectly and arranged in perfect order to keep the constant feeling of despair, doom and the horrible sensation of fire engulfing your senses. He isn't singing about rainbows and puppy dogs. From the first track to the last each song pours out of the speakers with violent intentions of scorching anything or anyone who hears it. People often talk about Danzigs vocals being not up to par as on other albums.... Ever think that is how he wanted it? You honestly think Danzig distorted his voice, and mixed it the way he has done on this album because he was trying to cover up his voice....? Sorry don't think so. His voice MELTS with the music in this album, as it should. He understands that the voice is no different than any other instrument in a band. It should not stand out or stand alone anymore then the guitar or drums..... Satan's Child is a Danzig album that should be listened to in order. Start to finish. And it will not disappoint.
