Bring a history of music and song writing, a huge dose of traditional BLACK blues, a fondness for the darker things in life, an intolerance of bullshit, and simply magnificent musicians and you have the debut album from the band DANZIG. It was the perfect mix of everything. Vocals, Lyrics, Guitar, Bass, Drums and most importantly MOTHER FUCKING BALLS. From start to finish this album oozes from the stereo. Thick, heavy riffs and clear powerful vocals cultivate to make a simply unclassifiable album. Not rock and roll, not metal not punk.... It started a entire new genre of music. Sort of like Chuck Berry did. This is the type of album where you will drive around for days with it in your cd player and never even take it out..... DANZIG, enough said.
