To throw a cliche out: If you look up avantgarde in the dictionary, you should see Estradasphere's picture. The band is all instrumental; they're a rock band with violins, pianos, tsugaru, stand up bass, and all the trimmings. All these instruments played in the way they are make it sound like the soundtrack to a movie, full of thrilling climaxes, interludes, fight scenes, sex scenes, car chases, etc. Palace Of Mirrors attacks every emotion with every style. This band should appeal to everyone. A great example of the band's power is the track "A Corporate Merger". It starts off instrumental with a reggae tinge, then welcomes in violins. The violins speed up, following the guitar and drum's pace and then break into a frenzy. I've seen friends BURN THROUGH violin strings on parts much slower than this. The last 30 seconds of the track blend right back into the calm, guitar-based reggae. Buy this album!!!
