Setting the Platinum standard for Rap/Hip-Hop music is Beastie Boys with their debut album, Licensed to Ill. The Beastie Boys show that not only can 3 white boys rap, but they can incorperate guitars and drums with their beats to create a rock-rap that strectched across all genres and captivated a whole generation to "fight for their right to party." 2 decades later, this album still gets airplay, and the legend of the Boys is passed down from generation to generation. The album that started it all is perhaps their best. Spawning the hits Fight for Your Right, Brass Monkey, No Sleep Till Brooklyn, She's Crafty, Girls, Hold it Now, Hit It, and The New Style, but practically every song on this album is audio proof of the 3 amigos that came into the world and tore it a new musical one.
