The Love Dogs aren't just blues, they are Rhythm and Blues and man do they have alot of rhythm. These guys jump on the train when it leaves the station and ride all the way to the next city. Some may call them swing revivalists but that is just to shallow in order to encompase exactly what they are. They do jump blues, cajun style R&B, a straight ahead classic R&B. Think back to the sort of thing that the Commitments wanted to do, even though they weren't black they still wanted to do soul - and they pulled it off. You will have no control over your foot when you put this album on, it will keep tapping until the train reaches the station. This is an exciting album from the new dog on the street.
