When one gets to play with his idol he ends up playing at his best. Although this wasn't the first time Albert and Stevie had played together it was the first time they had been recorded. It was at the TV station for CHCH in Hamilton, Ontario on December 6, 1983. When these two trade licks there is no holding back. Albert knew that Stevie had stolen more than a few licks from him so Stevie had to prove himself worthy of borrowing from the master. Albert even lets Stevie play one of his own songs (Pride and Joy). The banter in between tracks is great entertainment with Albert talking about the first time he met Stevie ("You weren't nothin' but a popsicle stick"). The recording quality is superb as well.
