John 5 is an unknown master of guitar. Formerly part Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and others, he never showed off too much of his skill. His solo albums reveal it all. Songs for Sanity starts with Damaged, one of the best written and most astonishing instrumental metal songs ever written. Afterward, he shows his extreme flexibility playing songs like Gein With Envy, and Gods and Monster’s a blend of instrumental, metal, and…hip hop. The entire album is breathtaking, a must buy from a man who deserves more than he is getting.
