RecommendThis is a band that plays slicing hardcore thrash metal with the right doses of anger and humor. Raging full on, relentless two-chord sincere brutality with all the right cred is hard to come by today,. But ASFTS have it in spades. Songs like "King Cobra" display speed and bedrock riffs that overwhelm without becoming monotonous. This is an exhausting set of smart and tough metal that puts posers to shame. Yes, metal can be adventurous without being silly, and challenging without cliché.
