RecommendMare Vitalis is Latin for Sea Life and the Appleseed Cast have chosen a good name for this emotional post hardcore disc. Imagine being stranded out in the middle of the ocean with nothing around for miles. You start hallucinating and you head fills with music. The Appleseed Cast play the soundtrack to this scene. Their brand of pop is that of gentle heartache and anger that builds up and releases like a slow leak. It is all so beautiful. The albums charm lies in the band spilling their guts and wrapping it all in a nice warm glow. They have something here.
