Terminal Sound System - Compressor
Aussie Skye Klein makes hay within his Drum’n’Bass framework, but provides only random, infrequent beats to sink your teeth into, clearly avoiding his many musical countrymen’s penchant for music a little on the raw side. So the lulling ambient is king here, the grooves pop up here and there, and I swear there is room for the occasional power chord. While the beats do provide a short shock, they sound more like aural taunts from the cool neighbor next door, whose party you weren’t invited to, but can occasionally hear through the walls as it picks up steam. You have to work in the morning, and need to get some rest.
