Sadus is another band from Roadrunner Records who was popular in the mid-80's playing the heaviest, fastest music they possibly could. They are often credited to be the fastest thrash/death metal band of thier time. I can't see why this music is so popular. It's so fast and confusing, I can't tell if the band can actually play, or if they just like to beat on thier instruments. Vocals almost identical to the old, thrashy metallica and instrumentals that would fit in on any Slayer album make this a strike out for me. I've never been a fan of the 80's metal scene, so maybe I am the wrong person to be reviewing this.....I just cannot stomach what this band is trying to accomplish. Is the goal to play so fast that your audience can't tell that you are to inept to play music? Or is it just to be the fastest for bragging rights? Whatever it is, I can do without it.
