RecommendOne word to describe this band? Unique. And wierd. Ok, so that's two words, but you wouldn't want me to sum up a review in one word would you?
Imagine hardcore, metal, house rock, acid rock and alternative all fused with a relentless attention to detail. That's what Big Buisness bring to the table. It's a very good mix and I congratulate them on being a unique voice in todays boring music scene. The only problem is at times it can be a bit much. Some tracks seem to be a little bit jumbled and other a lacking a certain element that would make them excellent. Deep growls overlay clean vocals on top of instrumentals that can be described as nothing less than stoner rock. Maybe as humble people we don't have the mental ability to wrap our minds around what the band is trying to do, or maybe the band just hasn't found it's niche. Either way, this disc is quite a journey.
