These guys win, hands down, for most creative band name. Agriculture Club are a Calgary version of the amazing Supersuckers and they know how to rock the house. They blend punk, rock, country, and sneering metal into one hell of a party. You really can’t help but salute the band with the coveted metal horns. Guitars wail and drums just truck along in a great speedy rhythm. It’s a total farce with their creative name aliases: Luther Chickengravy, Gordon Leadfoot, The Rubber Duck, and Waylon Nelson. Throw Farmageddon on the next time you head out to grandma and grandpa’s farm and you will have one hell of a ride. We get a healthy dose of cow-punk with 14 meaty tracks and some very creative song titles. “The Ballad of Pilsner Beer and “Rubber Duck Breakdown are some of the highlights. The Pilsner song will soon be a classic. Farmageddon is a totally fun album that will appeal to any hard rock aficionados.
