Dancing with Daggers is the second studio album by the Canadian indie-rock girl group Magneta Lane, released April 4, 2006 on Paper Bag Records.
Career-High for the alternative/garage group that hails from Toronto. "Dancing With Daggers" is truly a superb album. It is a record which has ten songs and all of them were amazing. Lexi Valentine provides those very good vocals that amazes you. And who said Nadia King can't play the drums, she has very wonderful skills in beating it. And the choruses of each song I think are the brightest part of which.
In "Wild Gardens". It is a heavy guitar driven song that mixes with the beautiful, almost-humming voice of Lexi that creates a one of a kind masterpiece. and "Broken Plates" has those kid of dark Intro and switches to a strangely sunny chorus.
I think the only weakness of "Magneta Lane" is that they have pretty much the same tune and chord progressions with each song. But, they always find a way to make it sound impressive.
