RecommendU-Roy has been around for a very long time. The Love Trio crew just decided to pull U-Roy's fabulous dub vocals for Love Trio In Dub Feature U-Roy and the results are decent. In order to get a feel for the smooth dub style of this album just pop it in and listen to "Rock The Rhythm". It is the best and catchiest track on the set of 10 tracks. Love Trio consists of Ilhan Ersahin (sax, keys), Kenny Wollesen (drums), and Jesse Murphy (bass). But in reality it is U-Roy's vocals that really make this album stand out. This is more than just dub too. Much electronica vibes hit the speakers with U-Roy's dub vocals in pretty much every corner. It was Ilhan's childhood love of U-Roy that got this project started. It might be thought of as a brighter and happier Massive Attack, if you like dub and chill-out electronica, then try out Love Trio in Dub. It is worthy of your money.
