As I’ve said before, punk compilations are always good bargains and the best one of all is always Epitaph’s Punk-O-Rama series. It makes you site back and think just how blessed this powerhouse of a punk label really is. With newer signings like Division of Laura Lee (“Black City) and Randy (“Addicts of Communication) mixed with some of the Epitaph stalwarts like Dropkick Murphys (“Heroes From Our Past), Rancid (covering NOFX’s “Bob), Bouncing Souls (“The Something Special) and label owners Bad Religion (“The Defense) you just have to stand back and say “Wow! Epitaph is also home to bands like Millencolin (“Fingers Crossed), one of my current faves, Hot Water Music (“Wayfarer), Pennywise (“The World), and Guttermouth (“My Girlfriend). There really isn’t a label roster that can stand up to that in the major labels world let alone the indie world. Just buy it. It’s only like $6.
