No, no, no! Goddammit, look bands, for future reference: when releasing an album, don't have demos leak and then when the album comes out, the album version barely differs from the demo. Regardless, that's what Hellogoodbye did with this childishly-titled debut album, Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! Oh my! For the unaware, Hellogoodbye is a dastardly cross between Spice Girls and BoA, jpop idol who actually has a margin of talent. Yes, it's that goddamn bad. Wow.
Starting off with "All of Your Love," probably one of the album's 'stronger' songs, exemplfies what I'm trying to imply about that j-pop. It takes all the qualities of jpop, the sampling and such, and makes it horrible and unenjoyable. They took all the successful elements of a decent EP and apparently took a butcher knife to their own talent. This album is that bad. My word, it's barely possible to make from beginning to end. Who chooses singles like "Here (In Your Arms)?" The point of the single is to sell your album, yet this single has none of the necessary qualities to push it to the mainstream. It's not catchy, it's just annoying and introduces you to how badly the vocals of Forrest Kline have declined.
I feel horrible composing this review (not really, don't worry, honesty is my specialty) because the EP made me a huge fan of Hellogoodbye (avoiding the fact that my sister's friends attend their shows in high frequency). Regardless, this album is h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e, horrible. I mean look in a dictionary and you will see this album referenced heavily for horrible's defition--it's that bad. This album is a huge disappointing backwards step for the band. I only hope that their sophomore attempt goes way better.

although most of your review is on target, i wish you would have included "Oh, It's Love". Although it may be "poppy". Its a very good song, its not like them, which is a good thing. lol

I do like this album. It's mindless, it's a tad annoying at times, and there are only a few songs I can really get into, but it's enough to make some mix-tapes. Definitely more listenable than dozens of other "jpop" bands (see "Similar Artists" list to the right). EDIT: Meant to click 6 stars out of 10, not 10...it's not THAT good!

Oh my god, I hate this band just as much as i hate Aiden. And That is a lot. Two of some of the most famous bands that are completely terrible[aiden, hellogoodbye]. I hate the vocals and how they are distorted. I can't get into this band, it's just impossible for me. Terrible terrible band, terrible CD, and i wouldnt suggest this tourture upon anyone's ears. I suggest finding a better band, anything would be better than this band.
