Love Is All has basically come out of nowhere to introduce us to their great indie pop sound that borders on punk. They are a foursome from Gothenburg, Sweden and with their debut album, Nine Times That Same Song they pose to break into the indie markets all over the world. Their sound is infectious and catchy. I find myself humming their all-too-familiar melodies long after I have stopped listening to them. They kind of have that popular dance-punk feel to them but you can't help but feel that it's only by accident. I think it helps to have a great female vocal fronting this sound. Josephine has a great vocal style. Sort of in the middle of punk and electropop such as Ladytron. The songs are solid and presented all together give us a great diversity. Some of the songs are a little underproduced but as a whole the album really works. If you are into the more pop side of things and like female vocalists, give Love Is All a shot. I think Nine Times That Same Song is as good a debut as anyone could ever hope for.
