RecommendI have heard Sixer compared to Jawbreaker fused with Social Distortion. Can’t beat that now can you? Sixer was formed back in 99 and before they new it they were in the studio working on what would become Busted Knuckles and Heartbreak�. The band would be put on hiatus for a few months for personal reasons but when they were ready, punk label BYO was on the sidelines ready to reel the group in. The foursome was able to make heartfelt punk music that had feeling and meaning but still maintains an edge to it. Beautiful Trash is an album that will appeal to fans outside of the punk arena. What we are talking about is a great rock album with some punk influences. Sixer is from Richmond, VA, which doesn’t really house too many punk bands but hopefully Beautiful Trash should put it on the punk map.
