Reach the Sky's fans are totally rabid and I had yet to figure out what all the fuss was about. Now I know. These guys play a blistering mix of punk and hardcore (a bit more of the latter) and it's not even that original but the big draw here is the talent that the band possesses. Ian Larrabee has no problem adapting his vocals to whatever the song demands. The band as a whole is not afraid to throw a little emotion into the mix (take for instance "Stars Lead The Way") but they never wimp out on us. For only their second full length, the band sounds quite mature and has figured out how to mix all their influences into a hardcore soup that tastes homemade. Reach The Sky is a band that means every lyric that they sing out and to top it off, their talented too.
