RecommendOne studio track and one live tune provide enough noise and rhythmic sludge to satisfy the wall of assault fans among us. Death Unit features two drummers, keys and guitar, and the drummers keep a continuous pounding attack underneath the abrasive electronics and the atonal guitar shredding. Don’t be fooled by the quiet, brooding bits; they are only a temporary breath, as respite before more bludgeoning. Blistering in pace and massive in effect, this is the perfect party clearer, or party starter, depending on how seriously your friends understand that life is too short for fear.
