Being a new millenium one may thing that Propagandhi would have mellowed out a bit. 3 years since their last release and while one of their players have gone on to form the rock band Weakerthans one may have thought that they might have changed gears. Not likely! This powerful as ever band is just getting more intense and even more intricate in their playing. Don't worry, it's still punk to the max but some of the most intelligent punk to ever grace our stereos. The liners are lined with political statements from everyone from Hitler to George Orwell. The band shoots from the hip and they aim for the heart, not to win you over but to knock you right over. The band goes at everything from porn, people in general, and of course politics. They are tighter than ever and the songs are some of the best they have ever written. If you aren't aware, Propagandhi is to headline Fat Tour 2001. Rock on!
