Antler - Antler
Antler is a rocking, country-colored band that is rocking hard and confident on this debut. “Tombstone and Cigarettes” and “ Dead By valentines” have a fuzzy Creedence feel to go along with a brooding Slobberbone-esque sense of dread, courtesy of singer Craig Riggs and guitarist Tim Catz. “Dig Your Own Hole” and “All I Had” go perfect with Jim Beam, and the abundance of swampy riffs here should satisfy those who wash down their pain with illegal hooch. That this is another great band out of Boston is icing on the cake for this Yankee.
