Buddy is a little sick. Hopefully we can play doctor, baby, to take the pain away. Yes, I'm poking fun at the lyrics, past and present. Senses Fail has a uncanny to be, bluntly, horrible at the pen and paper portion of the writing process. Cliches flow like the Niagara Falls, however, they get their point across. Musically, they always are on the climb.
Somewhere in between Let It Enfold You and Still Searching, Buddy became an amazing vocalist. His voice is more powerful when he is yelling his heart out and if you ever see him live, he sounds less like a whiny four year old.
"Calling All Cars," the first single, is pretty decent--not necessarily first single material, but still good. "Shark Attack" has amazing "Let It Enfold You"-esque guitar intro and you find yourself being singularly reminded of "Martini Kiss"--don't ask me why, I just was. The title track brought you the band chanting the chorus and honestly, you weren't quite sure where the song was going next. The music left so much room for suspense and you were going to continue to hunger for more.

Disagree completely. I thought this CD was a complete blow out and the band was capable of much more. I want to know what happened to all of their old influences that let them make the amazing music before this release. So what if he sounded like a whiny four year old. The lyrics were okay, and the music was something people liked a lot. This record release just seemed to let a lot of people down. I was extremely disappointed by this release by senses fail. It might have just broken my heart because this band was one of the bands that turned me over to rock music in the first place. Now, they make me want to run away and never look back. If i were to be asked what influenced me as a child to get into rock music, I would be embarassed to mention Senses Fail's name.
