More than anything you feel for their power, their killer groove of metal/funk that NO ONE from the SoCal Drop D run could pull off. Shit even The Deftones look to Snot as a past influence on their career. But its not about the name dropping, or 'Strait Up!' featuring 15 major name artists fighting labels and producers to finally put "Strait Up!" in stores. Its the title track of this album "Get Some", that flows from Jazzy Rhythmic-Metalcore and a nacherally made Hip Hop vibe, to an all out core bar, with vocalist explosion and energy. To be quite honest, the only reason you may NOT have heard of Snot, is because they took this formula and stuck with it. Not only would I make 'desert island the pick', you should too. Well at least eighty five percent of Rock/HipHop/Jazz/Metal/Soul/ and even a bit of the Jam band floor should probably stop procrastinating on this INDIE CLASSIC!
